Welcome to our Blog Page. I have started this blog to keep our friends and family updated and to let you all share in our upcoming Alaska vacation. We don't leave until July 4th but we are counting the days until the fireworks begin in Anchorage and we watch them from our hotel in the dusk of the evening at midnight. Our itinerary is set for the most part and most of the trip is paid for with a few exceptions that need paid on our arrival and anything we decide to add later. Like I am still trying to convince myself that a flightseeing trip would be worth the fear and terror I would be going through to see the beauty from above and to make Jim really happy. Any encouragement from the audience will help!
We will be taking a short trip in June that will be a trial run for our traveling. We will be flying (not my choice of travel) to Texas on June 6th to watch our favorite niece Crissie, graduate from High School! We are so proud of her and excited to go see my brother Johnny and his family.
I will be posting things periodically until our actual trip and will begin daily when we leave for Texas. I hope you all enjoy with us and please let us hear from you all!

You will do fine. You always conquer what you set out to overcome. Flying will become a thing of pure enjoyment for you.....or at least an awesome memory. Just tell Jim he owes you big time for this and then just think of what you can demand of him. That ought to take your mind off the flying part. GO big or go home, that's what my hubby says. Have an awesome time!!!!!!
Carlee and Pauline say THANKS for all your posts of encouragement and support ..Carlee passed her inspection today (the first day out of the hospital) and will go back again on Wednesday.

Don't bring many clothes to Texas with you ...its toooo hot to wear them. C & P
